Cycle 3: Independence and Interdependence
As we continue on through Cycle 3: Independence and Interdependence, eighth grade students are fully immersed in the first-ever CPS Capstone Project which engages them in the study of American history, social change, science, technology, writing, reading, and 21st century learning skills in effort to better equip them for the future of education. Along with Capstone, eight grade students are working hard on MOS in science while reading the age old classic To Kill a Mockingbird for literature class.
Seventh grade students are working hard on their MOS project in science while reading the timeless classic The Outsiders for Literature class. Some 7th grade students have begun The Pixton Project which will bring scenes of The Outsiders to life using digital/graphic novel technology.
